The purpose of this study is to examine the amount of attention to the steps of the problem solving in the science textbook of the sixth grade in years 2018 and 2019. In this study, a quantitative content analysis method was used to analyze the text and pictures of the textbook. Moreover, Shannon's entropy method was used to analyze the importance of problem solving. The coding method was used to calculate reliability. The analysis showed that all steps of the problem solving in texts and pictures (the problem, data collecting, hypothesis making, hypothesis testing and the result) have been noticed in the sixth science textbook. The results also confirmed that among the steps of the problem solving, data collecting and conclusion steps were the most and least important. عملکرد تحصیلی دانش­آموزان به میزان زیادی متاثر از توانمندی آنان در حل مسئله است؛ زیرا موفقیت در مدرسه مستلزم توانمندی­هایی است که مهم­ترین آنها شامل درک و سرعت عمل در انجام تکالیف و ادراک دانش­آموز از این که مسئله به چه صورت است و چگونه باید آن را حل کرد، می شود. هدف پژوهش حاضر بررسی میزان توجه به مراحل حل مسئله در کتاب درسی علوم تجربی پایه ششم ابتدایی در سال تحصیلی 98-1397 است. در این پژوهش از روش تحلیل محتوای کمی برای تحلیل متن و تصاویر کتاب علوم تجربی ششم ابتدایی و از روش آنتروپی شانون جهت تحلیل اهمیت مراحل حل مسئله استفاده شده است. برای محاسبه قابلیت اعتماد از روش کدگذاری استفاده شد. تحلیل­های انجام شده پیرامون کتاب علوم تجربی نشان می­دهد همه مراحل حل مسئله (برخورد با مسئله، گردآوری اطلاعات، ساختن فرضیه، آزمایش فرضیه و نتیجه­گیری) در کتاب درسی علوم پایه ششم مورد توجه قرار گرفته است و در متن و تصویر کتاب به همه مراحل حل مسئله پرداخته شده است. نتایج نشان می­دهد که در بین مراحل حل مسئله گردآوری اطلاعات دارای بیشترین اهمیت و مرحله نتیجه­گیری دارای کمترین اهمیت است.  https://reek.cfu.ac.ir/article_915_b31fcd583061948178a7c8042ca72e80.pdf
