Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of ethical environment in relation to job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior of primary school teachers in Bafgh. The research method was correlation and the statistical population included all teachers teaching elementary school in Bafgh in the academic year 2020-2021. Using Krejcie and Morgan (1970) table, a sample of 155 people from the statistical population of 270 people was available and selected by Whitel and Davis (1990), Job Ethics, Victor and Cullen (1987) and Organizational Behavior Questionnaire. Citizenship was completed electronically and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation coefficient, and path analysis. The results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior of teachers and the structural model of ethical space in the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior has a good fit (Chi-square = 2.25, GFI = 0.89, 65 / 0 = RMR, 71/0 = RMSEA). According to these findings, it is recommended to pay attention to the ethical environment of the organization in order to promote organizational citizenship behaviors and job satisfaction of teachers.
