Analyzing the content of the book Heavenly Gifts in the second elementary period in terms of self-awareness components

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the components of self-awareness in the book Heavenly Gifts of the second elementary school. This research is applied in terms of quantitative approach and data collection based on content analysis. The research environment is all the textbooks of Heavenly Gifts for the second year of elementary school in the academic year 400-99. The sample is equal to the community. Measurement tools, researcher-made content analysis checklists and descriptive statistics were used to analyze the data. To assess the validity of content analysis tools, books and documents, data collection tools have been developed by a researcher checklist that has been compiled through the study of research literature and internal and external studies. The validity used in this study is face validity. The researcher-made checklist was approved by experts. William Scott method was used to measure the reliability of the research tool. The reliability coefficient was calculated equal to 80% using Scott formula. Based on different definitions of self-awareness, 6 components, 15 main categories and 12 sub-categories were obtained. The components of self-awareness are not used equally in The Fourth Grade Heavenly Gifts.
