Abstract
The aim of this study was to modification the bullying behavior of one of the sixth grade elementary students in the academic year of 2021-2022 and in KhodaAfarin County by action research method. The bullying behaviors of this student were observed and examined in different situations. Research data were collected using observation, interview and Illinois Bullying Questionnaire (2001).to solve this problem, the researcher has defined strategies to modification this behavior by using the existing theoretical and practical literature. These strategies were: teaching the components of emotional intelligence;Strengthening social,communication and self-control skills; Problem solving skills training;Supporting positive behaviors, loving the student, and informing parents and other colleagues about student bullying behavior and how to deal with it.The results and observations showed that the implementation of these strategies has been effective and has led to the correction of bullying behavior in this student.
