The Relationship between Virtual Education and Experimental Intelligence, Competence Perception and Academic Enthusiasm of Fourth-Grade Elementary Students

Abstract

The present study sought to determine the relationship between virtual education and experimental intelligence, competence perception, and academic enthusiasm among 4th grade students of primary school district of Kerman city in 2023. The existing research is a descriptive and correlational research. The statistical population of this research is all the 4th grade students of primary school district of Kerman city in 2023, which are 7886 people. The sample of the research was 290 people (153 boys and 137 girls) using cluster random sampling method and based on Morgan's table. The tools of this research were the virtual education questionnaire of Kim et al. (2005), the experimental intelligence of Kohes cubes (1920), the perception of competence by Harter (1982), the academic enthusiasm of Shafli et al. (2002). The results of the regression test show that virtual education increases Experiential intelligence reduces students' perception of competence and academic enthusiasm. Virtual education can explain about 72% of changes in experimental intelligence, about 65% of changes in competence perception, and about 64% of changes in academic enthusiasm in elementary school students
