The Level of Teacher's Familiarity with the Principles of Professional Ethics in E-learning

Abstract

Background and Objectives: Professional ethics is a significant category in the field of e-learning, which is very important and has attracted the attention of many experts in educational sciences. Based on this, the purpose of this research was to investigate the level of familiarity of teachers with the principles of professional ethics in e-learning. Methods: This research was descriptive-survey type. The statistical population of the research was made up of all the teachers of the first secondary level of Chabahar city, Teachers were 189 people, and 123 participants were selected from among the teachers by simple random method and using Morgan's table. The research tool was a questionnaire familiarizing professional ethics in e-learning with a reliability of 0.85 and the method of data analysis was using a sample t-test. Findings: The results showed that the level of teachers' familiarity with the dimension of intellectual property, the dimension of destruction and the dimension of privacy of professional ethics in e-learning was medium to high. Conclusion: It can be concluded that teachers are familiar with the principles of professional ethics in e-learning and this capacity can be used to improve the teaching and learning process
