Background and Objectives: This study delves into the scientific-technological dimension of the fourth-grade elementary science textbook, targeting the development of critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and creativity among students. It questions whether the textbook is designed to leverage modern technologies and various tools to enhance scientific knowledge and motivate students to undertake scientific research and experimentation. Methods: A qualitative analysis approach was adopted to evaluate the scientific-technological facet of the textbook, considering both practical and theoretical-practical dimensions. The criteria for analysis included fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, innovation, employing modern technologies, and providing research and experimentation opportunities. Findings: The investigation reveals that the textbook promotes scientific knowledge and bolsters critical thinking skills by integrating modern technologies and various tools. It also creates avenues for students to actively participate in scientific research and experiments actively, significantly aiding their comprehension of scientific concepts. Conclusion: The present study showed that the fourth-grade science textbook effectively enhances students' critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity through the use of various tools. The findings of this study can contribute to improving educational content and enhancing the quality of science education at the elementary level.
