This study aimed to examine the relationship between student teachers'' self-efficacy and their attitudes toward the use of technology in the teaching process. The research was descriptive-correlational, and the statistical population included 225 student teachers at Imam Ali Farhangian University Campus in Guilan Province in 2024. Data collection was conducted using the Attitudes Toward Technology in Education Questionnaire by Yavuz (2006) and the General Self-Efficacy Questionnaire by Sherer et al. (1982). The validity of both questionnaires was confirmed by experts, and their reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s alpha coefficients, which were calculated as 0.862 and 0.915, respectively. Data analysis was performed using Spearman’s correlation test, the binomial test, and the Kruskal-Wallis test in SPSS software version 27. The results of Spearman’s test revealed significant relationships between two dimensions of technology use in education—namely, the advantages of technology use and the lack of impact of technology—and the self-efficacy levels of student teachers. Additionally, the Kruskal-Wallis test results showed that the level of attitude''s strength toward technology was significantly related to the level of self-efficacy among student teachers. The findings from the binomial test indicated that student teachers with positive attitudes toward the use of technology in education were more likely to exhibit high self-efficacy. Based on the results of the present study, it can be concluded that a positive attitude toward technology use in education increases the likelihood of student teachers possessing high self-efficacy. Therefore, it is recommended to design and implement educational programs and practical workshops to enhance student teachers'' self-efficacy and technological skills.
